This is a two-year fixed-term position, subject to successful completion of a four-month probationary period. The post will be salaried up to c£29,000 according to experience.

RGS Job Opportunity: Geography Outdoors Administration Officer

The Royal Geographical Society (with The Institute of British Geographers) seeks a member of staff to support the work of Geography Outdoors: the centre supporting field research, exploration and outdoor learning providing information, advice and training to anyone wishing to undertake these activities either in the UK or overseas. The centre is part of the Society’s Education and Outdoor Learning Department.

This is a full time, permanent, appointment subject to successful completion of a four-month probationary period. The post will be salaried between £21,500-£23,000 per annum according to experience.

The Writer: Educational Resources post will be responsible for the future development and writing of the Society’s award winning online educational resources for schools. In particular it will be responsible for the future development of www.geographyinthenews.rgs.org.
This is a full time, permanent, appointment subject to successful completion of a six-month probationary period. The post will be salaried between £27,000-£28,000 per annum according to skills and experience.
