The Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) is pleased to announce that the Call for Sessions and Papers has opened for its Annual International Conference 2013 (AC2013). The conference, which will be chaired by Professor Jonathan Rigg (Durham University), will have as its theme New geographical frontiers.
The conference is returning to London in late August:
Date: Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 August 2013
Location: Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in London
Members of the geographical and related communities are invited to propose sessions and papers for the conference. Session organisers and delegates are invited to submit session and paper proposals to the conference, especially those which contribute to: how we theorise (think) and practise (do) geography; the contribution geography makes to addressing challenges that humanity faces and the need to go beyond inter-disciplinary boundaries and geographical frontiers to research new topics in innovative ways.
A timeline of important dates and deadlines can be found on the conference website: www.rgs.org/AC2013Timeline
