Energy Geographies Working Group launched

You may be interested to hear that the RGS-IBG now features an Energy Geographies Working Group. The purpose of the EGWG is to facilitate the development of research and teaching on energy within UK geography and by doing so, to enhance the contribution of the discipline to an issue of broad social significance and future concern. Under the rules of the RGS-IBG, the EGWG will be time limited to 2 years.
A description of our aims and list of forthcoming activities can be found at
We already have a sizeable number of members and applications are coming in on a daily basis. However, if you or someone you know would like to join us, you would be most welcome to do so.  RGS-IBG Fellows should use the Research Group joining form, while all others can join by contacting Stefan Bouzarovski of the EGWG directly (details below).
