PGF-ACTS now has sessions and speakers confirmed!
The Postgraduate Forum invites you to participate in PGF-ACTS – held at the RGS-IBG on the afternoon of Tuesday 30th August 2011. This is a unique training opportunity for you engage with leading geographers through the following workshops:

Postgraduate delegates are invited to attend a symposium on Tuesday 30 August 2011 (the day before the Annual Conference begins), hosted and subsidised by the RGS-IBG Postgraduate Forum.
New for the RGS-IBG Annual Conference 2011, PGF-ACTS has been designed to deliver a unique training experience for postgraduates at all stages of their research.
In this inaugural year the topics explored within workshop sessions will include:
Writing for academia and scholarly publishing
Communicating research beyond the academy
Career planning and job applications
The symposium offers a supportive environment where you can begin to establish professional and personal networks amongst postgraduate peers.
