Geography Directions is an associated community site launched by Geography Compass and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) journals. The site features daily posts from a team of news editors linking topical news items to articles published in the RGS-IBG journals and Geography Compass.

What does being a News Editor entail? As a News Editor you will be asked to find a news story that links topical news items to articles published in RGS-IBG journals, Geography Compass or to an entry in Blackwell Reference Online. You will be one of many News Editors and will be asked to post once a fortnight. We also encourage you to comment on other items between your schedules posts.
